Ogden saluted a fallen police officer today. Officer Brad Francom was killed in a shootout at a marajuana bust a couple of weeks ago. The funeral was today at the Dee Events Center and the route from the funeral to the cemetery was lined with flags. Scott took these pictures for me because the route passed Ogden High and they let the students out for a little while to view the procession. Police officers from all over the west came and drove in the funeral cortege. It lasted for hours. I was at the temple, so I didn't view the actual procession, but I saw the flag-lined streets as I was leaving town and on the way to Bountiful I passed many different police officers heading north, and it was enough to bring a lump to my throat.
