Along with her old job at the reception center, Camille is life guarding at the country club in town this summer. We're not members, but employees' families can come swim every Monday, so Matt and I decided to go check it out. Matt practiced the skills he's learning in swimming lessons and made a couple of new friends.
Camille and her "evil eye." She's managed not to get a sunburn yet this year and she hasn't had to rescue anyone. She says this job is pretty much the opposite of her other one. Here she mostly just sits, while she comes home from the reception center worn out from working at top speed all night.
Scott is also a working man, some of the time. He is working as a sub for a guy who has a lawn care company. Last week he worked for the first time on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It's pretty much sunup to sundown, so it's kind of a shock to his system, but he's been a good sport about it. The hardest thing for him is to miss football, but last week it was canceled on Friday so he only ended up missing one day. He hasn't worked this week so far -it'll kind of be a hit and miss kind of thing.
We're still being taskmasters in the yard, too. Our kids are getting really tired of it. Kevin has been a super big help, and we wouldn't have been able to do anything with out Scott's muscle. We keep unearthing the biggest boulders you've ever seen. Not even Matt escapes. We're determined to be finished with at least the front yard this week. I'll post some pictures when it looks presentable.

Once you get the kids trained on yard work, can you send them down to our house?
