Well, the fall soccer season is officially underway! The boys are still just practicing and playing in tournaments, but Camille's team had their first preseason game yesterday against their old rivals, Ben Lomond. They won't get to play them during the regular season because Ogden has moved up to 4A this year, so that's sad. Anyway, they won 4-1! It was a great game. Camille is a captain this year and has really taken on a leadership role. Her position is last man, so she is in charge of directing the defense. The only goal scored against them was a penalty kick, so the defense did a great job. (Even though the penalty was against Camille!)

ReplyDeleteWe are sad we don't get to see Camille play her last year, so mom has to take lots of video and other pictures for us. Camille has become a great player...can it be the same girl who when playing goalie watched as a ball slowly rolled into the goal she was defending....because "the ball had a bee on it!" (age 6)
