We just got back from a little trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We had one day of rain and beautiful weather the rest of the time. Everything was green and beautiful and the lakes and rivers were really full. We saw lots of wildlife (especially on the rainy day) and had a great time. Here are a few pictures of some of the highlights.

EFY
Both Camille and Scott have just been to EFY. Scott and his friend, Brandon, went to BYU, and Camille and her friend, Malorie, went to the U of U. They all had a great time. When they got home they immediately joined Facebook to keep in touch with everyone they met. Somehow my kids were the only teenagers in the world not on Facebook. I'm resisting joining myself, although it looks fun -I don't need another reason to spend more time on the computer!

Shadow
Meet the newest member of the family. I finally gave in and John and the boys came home with this cute little kitty Saturday night. He's already litter-box trained (is that just an instinct with cats?) so it's all good so far. He's a real cutie. He likes to sleep on top of the computer, I guess because it's warm and vibrates a little.

Baby Chicks
Every year Grandpa gets baby chicks that he raises for their eggs. Matthew and I went to pay the little girls a visit while they're still little and fuzzy and cute. Matthew loved letting them eat out of his hand and holding them very gently. They're about a week old now, and when they're about a month old they'll go live in the luxury digs -the nicest chicken coop I've ever seen! Grandpa built it a few years ago, and it's big with windows and a front porch, and the chickens have lots of space to roam down at the bottom of his lot. If I had to be a chicken, I'd want to live there!

Cousins, soccer, and singing
On Saturday night we went to the Real Salt Lake soccer game. Niel and Amy's family went, too, so we met for dinner before the game and exchanged a couple of kids so cousins could sit together. It was great to see them.
